| Welcome to our online database of real estate assessment and property information. Click the Search Property Records tab above to begin your search by owner name, parcel ID or address. This site contains basic information for all properties located in Montgomery County, including tax map number, property owner's name and address, the property's legal description, land size, current assessment and residential property sketches. All assessment of real property, including land and permanently affixed structures, are based on 100% of fair market value and are equitable with the assessment of comparable properties. Montgomery County's assessed values are effective from January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2014. The real estate tax rate for 2012 is 87 cents per $100 assessed value. In addition, Blacksburg and Christiansburg town residents also pay town real estate tax. Please visit the respective town websites for their tax rate details.
